This is a great shadow box, but wouldn't use it for jewelry. Its' too pretty! It's more of a display box, thus the 'shadow box'. I really like it. wasn't sure about it when i purchased it, but the quality is so nice i don't mind. good service, too. (Posted on 10/15/10)

Thank you Mele & Co for offering something besides conventional jewelry and watch boxes! I like to collect and 'make' antique jewelry pieces and am always on the lookout for small display cases that I can use at fairs and jewelry shows. I bought this as a gift for my mom who just loves anything victorian or vintage. The pretty scrollwork on this shadow box is just so pretty and so delicate, she loves it.
