This is my first ever Mele purchase. I really love that now I have all my favorite jewelry kept together instead of in small jewelry boxes here and there. I wish that the Alexis was also offered in a dark brown (between the java and walnut finishes), that there were more ring slots, has room to store longer chains on the side compartments, and that this armoire included earring cards or a dedicated spot for earrings. I still love it nonetheless. Wish I purchased it sooner. It's a good size since space is an issue for me. It's made in a classy simple style. (Posted on 4/28/10)

Just wanted to add my review here since I have been a Mele customer for years. I did happen to order the Alexis not too long ago for my granddaughter's birthday. She was thrilled. I know that I have an armoire that I like much better (I bought it many, many years ago from Mele) but it's really just a matter of style, not quality. Never had any complaints about Mele's products. I've given them as gifts for years and haven't disappointed anyone yet! (Posted on 3/18/10)
