"Greetings from Minnesota and a jubilant grandfather that has regained my can-fix-anything image with my almost 5 year old granddaughter.

Thanks to the efforts of all the good people at Mele, this important status was recovered after being in a bit of jeopardy. The replacement jewelry box arrived earlier this week and I will see my granddaughter this weekend - she will be over joyed. I will, however, need share that it is a replacement vs. a grandfather's repair success - the truth always wins out.

I have thought a lot about the efforts of your entire company from the perspective of a 70 year old retired person after 44 years in the food business and found an old advertisement that was used by the original company that was called the "Minnesota Valley Canning Company" [MVCC] that I feels fits the process. MVCC later became the Green Giant Company, eventually a part of The Pillsbury Company, and now a division of General Mills. The spirit of this ad reminded me of both of you and the image one would have of the Mele Company:

That entry seems to fit Mele Jewelry Box as well. That is the kind of effort I witnessed over the past several weeks working with you good people.

"I MUST tell you that last week I purchased a jewelry box from Jewelry Box direct (I found the company on line). My purchase has been a long time coming. I was replacing my white jewelry box that my father gave me for my 12th birthday – 51 years ago. As you might imagine, I had a very hard time deciding that it was time for a new one (all the memories, etc. - my father passed away 12 years ago!), but it was time. I have been keeping the old box together with safety pins, etc for the past several years. So I went online, found the box I wanted and bought it from the picture on the website. It had all the necessary compartments and things that I wanted in my replacement box.

As I was transferring the contents of the old box to the new box, I realized that the box my Dad gave me was a MELE box. Imagine my delight! Without even knowing it, I replaced my father’s birthday gift with another MELE box; this one must be the great grand daughter of my original jewelry box - same color and everything.
